cropped-masc-logo-long-wordpressThe FUTURAHMA group took part in the 7th Workshop and Meeting organized by the Users’ Group for Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography (MaSC) in Cultural Heritage hosted by the Art Institute of Chicago (17th–22nd May 2015) with the poster A Multi-Disciplinary Approach to Analysis of Historical Red Lake Pigment Samples. The study concerned 20 historical red lake pigments and colorants, provided by the Lefranc & Bourgeois Archive in Le Mans (France). The samples were characterized through non-invasive multispectral imaging and chemical and physical analysis (FT-IR, XRF, Raman spectroscopy, FLIM, HPLC-DAD and HPLC-ESI-Q-ToF), together with the help of historical investigations.
