The project is strongly multidisciplinary and is carried out by four different research groups.

Physics:

• Institute of Photonic and Nanotechnologies (CNR) (Milan)

The group is enriched by collaboration from the National Institute of Optics (CNR, Florence) and the Opificio delle Pietre Dure (Florence). Several national, european and international partners have joined the project and include museums and research centres. These institutions will guide the choice of investigations and the selection of case studies.
