Thanks to the partnership with Galleria d’Arte Moderna in Cento, our team has conducted a first direct examination of the palette conserved in the museum relative to Aroldo Bonzagni (who signed the first edition of the Manifesto of Futurist Painters).
The first investigations in situ were carried out through non-invasive imaging-analysis in order to date the pigments with an early ante-quem end, 1918 (the date Bonzagni’s death). The Galleria d’Arte Moderna in Cento has started with us a partnership, which will involve the further analysis of Bonzagni’s paintings.
