Angelo Morbelli’s studio, recently reordered by the Association “Amis d’La Curma”, contains extremely interesting documents (epistolaries, manuscripts, printed documents, journals) and materials (paint tubes, varnishes, pigments), to be studied within the framework of FUTURAHMA’s research on the materials from the painter’s studio. Morbelli’s well-documented expertise on technical sources, new painting materials and techniques highlights the importance of a cross-disciplinary study, intertwined with the research on Grubicy and on the firms and colourmen in Milan between Divisionism and Futurism.
