Bergamo, June 16th, 2015

2015.06_BERGAMODuring the XV Congresso Divisione di Chimica dell’Ambiente e dei Beni Culturali – Società Chimica Italiana Bergamo (Bergamo, June 14th-18th, 2015), Ilaria Degano gave an oral presentation on Combined vibrational and chromatographic study of historical lakes and dyes. The main aim of the research was to identify twenty historical red lake pigments and colorants from the Lefranc & Bourgeois Archive (now ColArt) in Le Mans (France) through a combined analytical approach mainly based on the use of two techniques: High Performance Liquid Chromatography (using DAD and ESI-Q-ToF detectors) and Raman spectroscopy.
